Today I want to review an amazing product that I bought, the Godox AD600 flash.
It came packed into a nice looking orange – white box, premium quality, that made me buy two of them instead of one.
Inside the box I found the body of the flash with the front protection, the battery, the charging adapter and the flash tube.
I bought a Non TTL version, because I don’t use TTL and it has a Bowens Mount.

Why I chose Godox?
Since 2012, I have been a big fan and user of Elinchrom flashes, especially of Quadra products, because they were portable, powerful and easy to use on location. I used them a lot for my photo sessions, but I was limited by the number of flashes I could trigger, in this case, 150 pops/battery.
So I decided to try something else.
I quickly found that Godox had a new product, the AD600, that was able to shoot 500 pops in a single charge and had a power of 600Ws. It was fantastic, because that was what I needed , a powerful strobe with a huge number of full power pops per battery.
I don’t want to enter the specifications area, because you can find all the information on their site but I want to emphasize some of them.
Its construction is a solid one, it is practical, you don’t need to use cables because the battery is attached to the back, it is a little bit heavy (2.9 kg) but it is well balanced.
And the most important specification for me is the High Sync Speed. Now I can shoot in daytime lighting conditions with large aperture, because the AD600 can be synchronized at 1/8000s. And that is a Big Thing. I will show you the results of my latest photo session, where I used two Godox AD600.
Preparing to shoot with 2 x Canon 6d, 35mm f/2.0, 85mm f/1.2, 2 x Godox AD600, 1 x Godox AD360II, 1 x 135cm Softbox Elinchrom Rotalux, 1 x 70cm Softbox Elinchrom DeepOcta, Trigger Godox X1T.

And now the final images that were taken in daytime light conditions.
I am very satisfied about Godox AD600 and I will use it for my future projects.
Amazing work :O!
